
MED - 102 Transfers
All groups are met and assisted by a multilingual guide (in the customs area) at airports, at railway station and docks, on arrival and departure platforms. Transportation is provided by private motorcoaches either to Izmir or to resorts such as Kusadası, Bodrum and Cesme.
MED - 301 Izmir City Sightseeing (Half Day)
Visit Atatürk Avenue and square, Konak Square, Governor's Palace, Clock Tower in Moorish style, Roman aquaducts, Kadifekale (Mount Pagus) for a splendid view of Izmir. Continue to explore Izmir Roman Agora, Cultural Park and Izmir Archeological Museum.
MED - 302 Ephesus (Full Day incl. lunch)
Excursion to glorious site of Ephesus. Visit the ancient city with its marble streets, theatres, Hadrian Temple and Celsus Library. Then visit to House of Virgin Mary. Lunch at Seljuk. After lunch, visit to Basilica of John and the temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the antiquity
MED - 303 Priene, Miletus and Didyma (Full Day incl. lunch)
Full day tour of Priene, Didyma and Miletus. Visit first Priene, which was one the of important cities of the lonian confederation, designed by famous town planner Hippodamos. Visit to Temple of Athena, Hellenistic theatre and Buleterion. Then drive to Didyma, visit the temple of Apollo which was famous for its oracles in antiquitiy. It is the most impressive single monument on the west coast of Turkey. Lunch and free time for bathing on a beautiful sandy beach. On the way back visit of Miletus. Visit to theatre, Lion Harbour and its monuments, Baths of Faustina. Return to Kusadası or Izmir.
MED - 304 Hierapolis-Pamukkale (Full Day incl. lunch)
Drive to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) to visit the white calcium rock formations and extensive ruins of Hierapolis which was a Roman health Spa in the ancient times. Visit to Plutonium, Theatre, Great Church and Necropolis with its most amazing tombs and funerary monuments. Swimming possibility in famous Roman Hot Spring. Drive back to the hotel.
MED - 305 Pergamum (Full Day incl. lunch)
Towering 1000 feet above modern Bergama, the ruins of Pergamum command the extraordinary view in all directions. It was invented after Egyptians cut of the the papyrus supply. Visit the Majestic acropolis where Attalids lived. After acropolis, visit to Majestic Acropolis where Attalids lives. After Acropolis, visit to Asclepion, ancient medical center where famous physician Galen taught. After lunch visit to Archeological and Ethnographicial Museum in Bergama. Return to Izmir.
